Teams across the Matrix Trust and Elmwood School will be taking part in a large scale challenge to conquer Hadrian’s Wall starting 22nd May 2026. We would like to wish them all the very best of luck. Taking on a challenge like this is a huge achievement, and we are incredibly proud of everyone involved for their commitment, determination and support for such a worthwhile cause. We have around 70 incredible members of staff who decided to complete this challenge.
If you are able to, please consider supporting the participants by making a donation. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference and will mean a great deal to those taking part. We’re already over the £25,000 mark.
Thank you for supporting our participants and helping us celebrate this fantastic effort. Let’s get behind the team and wish them every success!
All this amazing effort to support our charity of the year – PAPYRUS.
PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
Every £15 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives.
